The Northern Star branch of the 1.0.0. F. met in the Methodist Hall, Kaitaia, last Tuesday. Bro. Begley presided in the absence of the Noble Brand, Bro. Kirtlan. The harmony programme for the year, drawn up by Bros. Malthus and Simmonds, was presented and approved. * Rules for play for the cup presented for Indoor Bowls competition by Bro. Findlay, were drawn up and arrangements were made for an evening with the Kaitaia Returned Services’ Club on Saturday, December 6th. The harmony for the evening was “here’s something I know” ' and drew many interesting lectur- I ettes from the participants.
