.Mrs. F. Donaldson and daughter Pat travelled to Auckland yesterday to spend an extended holiday and health trip. Miss R. Craig is spending a few days in Broadwood as the guest of Miss Billie Middleton. Mr. lan Horn left the district on Tuesday for his home in Levin. Miss Dorothy Holder travelled to Whangarei on Wednesday to spend her annual leave with relations. Miss W. Summerfield returns to Gisborne on Saturday after a holiday I spent with her brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. R. H. Summerfield. Mr. Roy Perkins of Hawera and Mr. R. Batt of Auckland arrived in* Kaitaia on Wednesday evening to spend a few days with Mr. and Mrs. W. Perkins. Mrs. Taaffe, Mrs. Mclntosh and j Mr. Tom Mclntosh travelled to Auckland on Wednesday. They accompanied Mr. Bruce Mclntosh to bid him farewell as he left on the Matua for his new position in Suva yesterday. Rev. L. D. Grounds is at present in Auckland, attending Synod. Miss R. Bennett of Auckland is visiting the district as the guest of Mr. and Mrs. Rhys Williams. Mrs. L. D. Grounds and baby twins are visiting Broadwood for the week.
