Personal Mrs. M. Kairau of Maunu Road, Whangarei, spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Sonny Marsh, and returned to Whangarei today. Mrs. W. McCaskill of Auckland, is the guest of Miss Emily Walker. Mrs. Ron Hedley, Mangere, Auckland, is the guest of Miss Iliki Huru. Mr. and Mrs. Maaka, accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Syd Thompson of Kaeo, is spending the weekend with relatives. * OTURU TENNIS CLUB FORMED A tennis club meeting was held at the residence of Mr. R. Erceg last Tuesday. The following officers were elected: —Joe Posinkovich, President; Rangi Popata, Secretary; R. Erceg Treasurer; Committee —. S. Marsh Tom Tepania, Maxwell Walker, T. King, S. Larkins, and J. Hetaraka. A membership of about thirty is expected, and several working bees have been held. The two courts situated alongside the Oturu Hall have been completely formed and now wait for their coats of asphalt.
