Presbyterian Daffodil Show

The daffodil show held last Friday in the Presbyterian church hall, Kaitaia, was a great success both financially and as regards attendance, there being a record crowd of visitors. The show was well up to previous standards. The poppy section was outstanding, Mrs. J. Parker’s champion bloom receiving- special mention. There were good entries for vase of flowers. The daffodil classes were judged by Mrs. Walton of Oruru and the decorative and cut flowers by Mrs. D. Jameson and Mrs. R. Beazley. Awards were as follows : Daffodils 12 varieties —F. Shepherd 1, R.
