FLOWER SHOW MEETING
The annual meeting of the Flower Show Committee of the Kaeo Branch of the W.D.F.U. was held in the Kaeo Memorial Library on Thursday afternoon, Mrs. W. H. Lane presiding. As a result of the election of officers held, Mrs. Lane continues to be President and Mrs. P. S. Miller Secretary of the Flower Show Committee. The date of the 1943 Show which will be the eighth held in the district was fixed for November 26. Minor alterations were made in the schedule, several interesting classes being added. It was decided that no admission or entry fees should be charged to children, whose rewards are to take the form of certificates of merit. Several offers of trophies for points prizes were gratefully accepted.
