KAITAIA GOLF CLUB The handicap stableford match played on Saturday was won by J. B. Reynolds after a count back from J. W. Parker. The leading scores returned were as follows: Reynolds 32, Parker 32, Creelman 31, Ladner 30, Loveridge 29. On Saturday the first round of the J. L. Hester Trophy (best 2 out of 3 handicap medal rounds) will be played. The draw is as follows: Wright plays Reynolds, McKenzie plays Me- j Kechnie, Harre plays Bellingham, Fit- 1 all plays Ladner, Hammond plays Creelman, Kelly plays Parker, Dyer plays Dykes, Stanton plays Loveridge. # LADIES GOLF CLUB The medal round played last Saturday was won by Mrs. Reynolds with a score of 96—26—70. Other good scores were: Mrs. Kelly 93—19—74; Mrs. Wright 102—25 —77; Mrs. Creelman 113—36—77; Mrs. McKenzie 102 —25—77. Next Saturday’s competition will be arranged at the club-house.
