From Our Correspondent at Broadwood
Purely Personal Mr. S. Julian has returned from a holiday spent in Auckland. Mrs. C. Harris and two children. Norman and Violet, are spending a holiday in Auckland. Mrs. G. Bruce has returned from a holiday spent in Auckland with her daughter, Mrs. T. N. Horan. Mr. Rod Holland has left for his annual holidays to be spent in Auckland. Mr. and Mrs. E. Irving and small daughter are spending a holiday in Auckland. Mr. J. Hick of Te Karae left on Thursday on a holiday to be spent in Auckland. Mrs. R. Fell of Kohukohu is spending a holiday in Broadwood as the guest of Mr. and Mrs. E. Kingdon. Mr. Robert Hyde has returned from his annual holidays spent in Auckland.
The friends of Mr. Richard Hawkins of Te Karae will be pleased to hear that he returned home last Friday after being an inmate of the Hokianga Hospital. Mrs. John McKenzie with her daughter Gail is spending a holiday with her sister, Mrs. Ratcliffe of Mt. Eden.
