Purely Personal Miss M. Noble-Beasley of Auckland arrives this week to spend Easter with her parents at Cable Bay. Car Accident While travelling towards Peria this week, Mr. Reece White of Victoria Valley had the misfortune to capsize his car over a bank after passing another car on a comer. Apparently the back of the other car hit Mr. White’s vehicle thus causing it to get out of control. The car landed on its hood, but fortunately no one was hurt and apart from a few dents and loss of petrol and oil no serious damage was done to the vehicle. Oruru Red Cross Exam. The list of names is as follows : Misses Joan Adams, Jean Coffin, P. Barriball, Flora Forsyth, Merle Forsythe, W. Maria, Joan Garton and Cris Garton ; Mesdames R. Kawle, B. Sterling, Hancox and Ashley Taylor ; Messrs. Alf Hancox, Norman Barriball, Morris Graves, W. Forsyth, T. Simpson, Ashley Taylor and Colin Forsyth.

After the examination was concluded supper was served and the evening rounded off as a social function with community singing.
