Rifle Shooting
UNUTOKE DEFENCE RIFLE CLUB The Club held the annual shoot tor the Unutoke Rifle Club Cup last weekend in good weather with a rather tricky rear fishtail wind, the conditions being 10 shots at 600 yards. The Cup was won by K. R. Tor: ie of Kaitaia with a possible 50. having earlier in the day shot a possible 35 at 300 yards and 34 out of 33 at 500 yards, making his teams match score 104 out of 105 over the three ranges. In the teams match Kaitaia led with 479 points, Whangarei being second with 472 points. Scores were as follows :
