Mr. I. Wilson is visiting the dis trict. Mrs. R. H. Edwards is visiting Ha wera. Mr. G. Wright has returned to Ma n;. i nui. Mr. M. Shepherd is holidaying ir the north. Miss D. Watts of Manurewa, is spending a week in Kaitaia. Mr. Peter Sparksman has returnee to his home at Peria. Mr. J. C. Cousins motored south for Easter. Mrs. E. Webber and family of Peria spent the holidays at Taipa. Mr. J. W. Hoskin of Duncan’s road is on a business visit to Wellington. Mr. and Mrs. Shepherd ai'e visiting Mr. and Mrs. J. Garton, Oruru. Miss Beryl Smith of Hikurangi was the guest of Miss Peg Jacentho during Easter. Mr. and Mrs. Macßae of Auckland have been visiting their daughter, Mrs. E. Clark. Mr. and Mrs. Hart of Auckland were visitors to Mangonui during the weekend. Miss Merle Taylor of Auckland spent the vacation with her mother at Oruru. Mrs. Noble-Beasley of Cable Bay has as her guests Mr. and Mrs. Smith of Auckland. Mr. and Mrs. Feisst of Mangonui motored to Opononi to spend the holidays with Mr. and Mrs. Dibble. Mr. G. Russell of the Bank of Asia at Mangonui, has left for Auckland on furlough. Mr. and Mrs. L. Sloane motored to Whangarei and Dargaville for Easter. Mrs. Fred White has returned to her home at Victoria Valley after an absence of several months. Miss Beth Lamb of Auckland flew up by plane to spend Easter as the guest of Mrs. Stan Harris, Cable Bay. Mrs. Christensen visited Whangarei to take part in the Easter Tennis Tournament. Miss Joan Garton of the Whangarei High School spent the holidays with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. Garton, Oruru. Mrs. D. J. MacKenzie and Mr. K. J. MacKenzie motored through to Kaitaia yesterday and are the guests of Mr. and Mrs. C. S. Puckey. Masters C. Hoskin and Coulter of the Whangarei High School returned to their respective homes at Fairburn for the vacation. * Campers at Taipa during the holidays included Mi’s. Len Weston , r.d Mrs. Childs of Whangarei, Mrs. L. Morpeth and family and Mrs. A. Wilkinson and family of Kaitaia. Mrs. Perry of Mangonui has as her guests, Mrs. Arfield Snr., Mr. and Mrs. B. Arfield and family, Miss Diane Lush and Mr. J. Arfield, all of Auckland. Mr. and Mrs. J. Green and family of Whangarei, Mr. and Mrs. E. Garton of Cambridge and Mr. W. Garton of Auckland, visited Oruru for Easter to attend the Garton-Little wedding.
