CHURCH OF ENGLAND

Awanui— 7.30 p.m. Mangonui—7.3o p.m. Short Lent services will be held by the Vicar in St. Saviour’s Church, Kaitaia, every Wednesday evening with the exception of Wednesday, 18th March. The celebration of the Diamond Jubilee of St. Saviour’s Church, Mangonui, has been arranged for Thursday, 19th March when His Grace, Archbishop Averill, will be in the district. Services will be held at 2 30 p.m. and at 7,30 p.m. Visit of Archbishop Averill His Grace, Archbishop Averill, will arrive at Kaitaia on Monday, the 10th inst. and on Tuesday a reception will be held in the Parish Hall, Kaitaia, at 2 30 p.m. A confirmation service will be held at St. Saviour's Church, Kaitaia, on Tuesday evening at 7.30 p.m. and at Pukenui on Wednesday the 18th at 2.30 p.m. On Thursday, the Archbishop will attend the celebrations in connection with the Diamond Jubilee of the Mangonui Church. PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH Kaitaia—ll a.m, Herekino—2.3o p.m. Victoria Valley—B p.m. METHODIST CHURCH Fairburn—ll a.m Te Puhi—2 p.m. Kaitaia— 7.30 p.m. On Sunday evening, March 8, the annual Methodist Church Harvest Festival service will be held in Kaitaia, and on Monday, the next evening, a harvest festival will be held in the Parish hall. A good musical programme has been arranged and the produce donated for the service will be sold for Church funds. CATHOLIC CHURCH Awanui—B.3o a.m Kaitaia—lo ain , 7.15 p.m. Stations of the Cross followed by Benediction of the Blessed Sacremetit. Wednesday, 11th.—7.15 p.m. Stations of the Cross.
