PRINCESS, KAITAIA Friday and Saturday (Show Night) The musical romance of a millionaire crooner who poses as a waiter to win a princess—and does—that is the story of'"‘Here is My Heart,” the picture to be screened at the Princess, Kaitaia, on Friday and Saturday (Show Night). Bing Crosby and Kitty Carlisle take the leads, and the number of song hits in this picture will delight the audience. A celorred cartoon is included in the Strong supports. Monday Grade Fields, in the picture “Sing as We Go,” appears on Monday evening. This is a veritable riot of happiness, with Miss Fields in another of her inimitable roles. A number of merry songs will please patrons. Wednesday Anne Shirley in “Anne of Greo l Gables,” is the picture for Wednesday. The book by L. M. Montgomery, from which this picture is taken, is too well known for the story to need repeating, and the particularly outstanding cast of players who support Anne Shirley make this picture the masterpiece of the year. AWANUI TALKIES Saturday Zasu Pitts and James Gleason come to the Awanui talkies on Saturday evening in “Hot Tip,” a racy story with furlongs of laughter. This ccm-
edy team will keep the audience entertained from the beginning to the end in one of their best productions. Wednesday On Wednesday a double-feature programme will be screened. The first feature, “Pleasure Island,” is superbly produced in technicolour. Edmund Lowe, and Esther Ralston appear in the second feature, “Mr. Dynamite.” This is a splendid mystery story in which Mr. Dynamite shows his skill in solving the tangled skeins of three crimes. This picture is recommended for adult audiences.
