All this talk of bonuses to farmers, led to one ratepayer calling at the County office for his share. The County Clerk fiM had sent out notices to all ratepayers informing them of the rebate on rates, and the ratepayer, who incidentally was 3 years in arrears with his rates, brought his notice to the County Office to be cashed, he evidently thinking it was one of the new Government’s schemes for bonuses for farmers,
