Accidents at Football

While playing for the Peria juniors in their match against Paatu last Saturday F. Buckingham had the misfortune to sustain a fractured leg, through colliding with an opponent. The game was not completed and the injured player was immediately taken to the hospital after Mr. Val Beazley had given first aid.

George Snowden, an Ahipara junior player and a county rep, sustained a fractured jaw in the.match against Awanui juniors last Saturday. Snowden was immediately taken to the County hospital for treatment. It will be a month or two before these players will be about again.
