ANNUAL MEETING The annual meeting of the County Youth Council was held in the Presbyterian Church hall last Thursday evening, when members were present representing the various Bible classes in the district. Reports The following report was submitted by the president, Mr. Rhys Williams. The spirit of fellowship and friendliness has been dominant in all our meetings throughout the past year, and we feel that it has been one of sturdy pro-
gress. On October 22 the fourth annual Labour Day rally was held at Fairburn. Representatives were present from almost every class in the county, and also from adjoining districts, totalling in all 200.
On January 29 our second annual combined Bible class picnic was thoroughly enjoyed by over 120 people. The after camp rally was held at Kaitaia on May 12, and sixty class membsQT attended. June 3 brought us once again to our annual rally this year held at Fairburn. A boys’ winter camp was held at Mangonui from July 4 to the 9th, and seventeen campers enjoyed the time to the full. Altogether the year's work has been very satisfactory, and tbe increased interest being shown in the Bible class work speaks well for the future of the movement in the county. Election of Officers The following officers were elected for the coming year. President—Mr. Rhys Williams Vioe-President —Mr. Les Foster Secretary—Miss F. Black Treasurer —Mr. F. Ballantine It was decided to hold the Labour Day rally at Kaitaia this year.
