NORTHERN STOCK SALES
The N.A. Fanners’ Co-op. report holding a special dairy cattle sale at Broadwood on Wednesday, when fully the advertised number of cattle came forward, and although there was a good attendance of buyers, competition was not brisk. Best cows and heifers sold from £3 to £4. Fair sorts, backward, £1 10s to £2 15s. A number of cows and heifers, in poor condition, sold at from 12/6 to 22/6.
