Basketball Tournament
On Saturday last a basketball tournament was played on the Mangonui school ground, to wind up the season, the following teams being represented—Totara North, Kaeo, Peria,Oruru and Mangonui. The ground was lined with spectators to witness tlie games, and afternoon tea was provided by the Mangonui and Oruru ladies. Following are the results:— Peria 12, Mangonui 1 Totara 12, Oruru 3 M angonui 5, Kaeo 3 Peria 9, Totara 8 Peria 10, Kaeo 2 Kaeo 8, Oruru 1 Totara 9, Mangonui 1 Mangonui 7, Whangaroa 7
