Swine Husbandry

Mr. Hale, chairman Pig Recording Club, Hamilton, will visit North Auckland during the month of May for the purpose of giving lectures and demonstrations on the subject of swine husbandry. As the pig and its products are now taking substantial part in increasing the income of the dairy farmer these lectures and demonstrations should be of particular concern, and it is hoped all interested will attend.

I do not consider we are justified in increasing materially the national output of dairy products. Both the Lands Department and the Small Farms Board have determined to vary their future operations by going in for mixed farming rather than concentrating on dairying.
