FAIRBURN

A commemoration was service held at Fairburn on the evening of Anzac Day, the service taking the same form as that held at Kaitaia in the morning. The Rev. W. H. Nicholas gave a short opening address, the chief speaker being the Rev. A. Johnston, whose address was on the lines of that given by him at Kaitaia. The names of those who went from the district to the War, never to return, were read from the scroll of honour in the Church, at the conclusion of the service.
