Children’s Fancy Dress Ball at Takahue

The Takahue Hall was en fete on Fri

day night last, it being the occasion of ' the Children’s Fancy Dress Ball. The Hall presented a festive appearance, being decorated in gaily coloured strea- . mers' and greenery. k The music for the Children's programme was supplied by Misses Una and Yolande Bastarde, and Mr. Eric Hansen. The Monte Carlo Waltz was won by Nancy Masters and Clarence Wright. Included in the programme was a number of old-time dances, of which the Sir Roger de Coverly w’as one. The adults went on the floor at 10 p.m. Miss Eunice Christensen supplying the dance music.
