BOWLING CLUB NOTES

All the rinks were in use at tiie Kaitaia Bowling Club’s greens on Saturday last, the splendid weather conditions being no doubt responsible for such a large number of members being on the greens. Besides the uaunl Saturday afternoon matches, the following competition matches were played:— For the Silver Fern Taaffe and Atkins (20) retained the ferns against the challenge of Gordon and Yendell (11). Smeaton (1) who gained the rooster last week lost it to Kusab (16).
