Wedding at Manukau

Quite recently a very pretty wedding was celebrated at Manukau, when Martha, second daughter of Mrs. Joseph of Manukau, was married to Moeke, eldeit son of Mr. and Mrs. Pukeroa of Waikeri. The bride looked charming in a long white silk frock, and wore a beautiful tulle veil, with orange blossoms. Mils Rose Tapena, as first bridesmaid, wore a long white satin frock, while two little flower girls, Mihi Haawe and Lizzie Clark, were dressed in white also. Mr. Johnson Mutu was best mail and Mr. Tom Moon was groomsman. After the service the people adjourned to the Hall, where the breakfast was partaken of. A beautiful two-tiered cake was cut -by the bride and handed round to the guests. In the evening a dance was held.
