The British Board of Deputies, by 110 votes to 27, has declined officially to boycott German goods and services. A plant for the production of oil from coal that will give direct employment to 2500 miners and other workers, as well as much indirect employment, will be operated by Imperial Chemical Industries, Limited, at Billingham on the Tees, Durham.
