fin Saturday the sth August, a dance in aid of the Waiharara school funds will be held in the Slavia Hall. * * * *
The Pukepoto Basketball girls are holding a dance in the Rarawa Public Hall, Pukepoto on Thursday next the 3rd August. With the small charge for admission and the good time promised there should be a good attendance of dancers. * * * * A combined meeting of the Kaitaia, Awanui and Fairburn Branches of the Farmers’Union, will be held in l'osters Rooms Kaitaia, on Monday evening next. Mr. J. W. Jones, President of the Bay Sub-Provincial Executive will give a resume of the Dominion Conference of the Union and discuss with members various matters effecting the organisation and welfare of the Union. All members of the branches are requested to attend.
