Dairy Company Affairs.

Sir, —In view of the fact that Mr. Lewis was nominated for the directorate of the Kaitaia Dairy Company I delayed answering his letter until after the closing of the poll for obvious reasons. Mr. Lewis went to some length in criticising the actions of certain men chiefly Mr. Micliie, but when a few lines of criticism was directed at himself he considered the attack cowardly. Any public man is a target for criticism and whether the critic signs his name or otherwise is beside the point. But the object of my letter was to try to get my friend to deal with future problems and leave the past alone. Also let me assure him that the writer is not '‘Multi Nom-de-Plume Bill.” Yours, etc..
