Social Evening at Lodge

The Kaitaia Koa Rebekah Lodge held their usual fortnightly meeting in the Library hall on Monday evening, and after the business had been concluded, entertained the brothers of the Northern Star Lodge. The first part of the evening was taken up with ping pong and cards, the former being won by Mrs. N. V. Matthews and Mr. L. A. Mclntosh, while dancing occupied the latter part of the programme, Mrs. P. G. Quilter and Miss N. Beazley supplying the music. A delicious supper was served in the interval, and at the conclusion of the evening Bro. I. McKinnon, N.G., briefly thanked the sisters, on behalf of the Northern Star Lodge, for the pleasant entertainment accorded them, Sister J. McKinnon, N.G. of the Koa Lodge, l-esponding.
