W.D.F.U

ENJOYABLE DANCE

A successful dance under the auspices of the W.D.F.U., and held tor the purpose of collecting funds for their housekeeper scheme, was held in the A. and P. Hall last evening. There was a large attendance, and the duties of M.C. were performed by Mr. Dudley Jameson. A feature ol the evening was the juvenile orchestra comprised of M. Crene (piano), J. Letherwick (saxaphone), A. Logan (banjo), and H. Kiitlan (violin). This was their first public appearance and they received a rousing reception. Mrs. A. Wilkinson played for the old time dances which proved very popular. Misses N. Beazley and E. Christensen obliged with extras.

During the interval a dainty supper was served, after which dancing continued.
