These tides are mathematically calculated t° the formula ol the British Admiralty, and are tor the place of tide at Queen Street Wharf: a difference may be found between them and those naturally produced from effect of winds and currents outside port limits. An easterly wind will retard the tide f and a westerly wind accelerate it, to the extent o thirty minutes. These influences must be noted and allowed for when referring to these tide tables.
