monthly Meeting
The Kaitaia Branch of the Women’s Division held its monthly meeting 011 Tuesday of last week. It was brought forward that the third Tuesday of each month, being sale day, was the most suitable for future meeting;, and a vote on this resolution will be taken at the next meeting. Mrs. Pitman, who is a capable Housekeeper, is doing very good work in the district, and Miss Price has been employed for several weeks in Kaitaia. Mrs. Pitman will take engagements for sewing when not employed by the Branch. Mrs. May was elected Secretary in place of Mrs. McKenzie whose resignation was accepted with regret. A dance will be held in Ihe A. and P. Hall on September I, to raise funds to extend the housekeeping scheme. In response to the appeal for clothing for little children, a large parcel of useful garments has been sent to Sister Esther. A collection of produce was sold and afternoon tea served.
