PERSONAL.
Mrs. P. B. Rowe and Master Trevor Matthews left for Auckland on Monday last.
Misses D. Thornell and J. McCarrol left this week for Whangarei.
Mr. and Mrs. P. Yendell returned from Auckland on Thursday evening last. Miss Stella Evans has returned from a visit to Auckland. Mr. C. B. Michie returned to Kaitaia on Saturday evening last. . Mrs. D. H. Lewis is on a visit to Russell.
Miss F. Matthews is at present spending a holiday in Kaitaia. Members of the local teaching staff left Kaitaia for the winter vacation on Saturday morning last.
Miss Barbara Trill is at present a patient at the Mangonui hospital.
