The above mentioned Block situated at the head of Hokianga Harbour has been subdivided into ten ranging in area from 200 acres to 360 acres with prices from £360 to £605. The Block was formerly a State Forest Reserve about half of which is easy undulating limestone country, soil of dark loam, all in heavy bush and balance easy undulating fern land of fair quality clay on clay and sandstone. After Allottment the land is exempt from payment of rates, rent and interest for a period of two years.
