BOOKS TO READ

“Where the Pavement Ends” — by John Russell. A collection of short stories vividly narrated. “The Otherside of the Lantern” —by Sir Frederick Treves. This as the title infers deals with the last. It is a book of travel and gives interesting glimpses into the characteristics ot the Peoples of the East. “Men Like Gods” —H. G. Wells. This is not the latest novel by this well known autbo', but it is considered to be one ot his best. As are most of this author’s books, it deals with a new world. It is interesting, if fantastic and is worth reading. For sheer nonsense and a good laugh read P. G. Woodehouse’s Psmith in the City.
