The Minister of Internal Affairs his declared the period from the 2nd Tune to 31st July (both days inclusive) to bean open season in the Mangonui-VVhangaroa Acclimatisation District, subject to the usual conditions, for the taking or killing of the following imported game and native game, viz, cock pheasants, Californian and Australian quail, grey duck, spoonbill duck and black swan ; and the period from the 2nd June to 39th June (both days inclusive) for the taking or killing of black teal; and the period from Ist January to 31st March 1931 (both days inclusive) for the taking or killing of godwits.
