On Monday evening next at 8 p.m. there will be a recital of Christmas music at St. Saviour’s Anglican Church, Kaitaia, Carols will be sung by the choir and congregation, and Mesdames AGarton and Clinton Gribbin, Miss Phyllis Gribbin and Mr. M. P. Atkin will render solos from the “Messiah” and other seasonable compositions. Mr. W. R. Langley will preside at the new organ installed at the church, and will also play solos including “Hallelujah Chorus” and “Pastoral Symphony” (Handel), and Prelude to ‘'Lohengrin” (Wagner).
