Mr R. Bradely of New been spending a holiday h s relations at Pukepoto. Mrs Hart left Kaitaia for Auckland on Thursday. Mr Don Black is making slow progress towards recovery iroin his recent operation. Miss F Matthews is returning to Kaitaia next Saturday t spend her term holidays with her parents, Mr A G Bell who has been undergoing treatment at Helensviile returned to Kaitaia on Thursday. Owing to continued ill-health Mrs H R McCarthy is shortly leaving Kaitaia for Auckland where she will reside for some time. As the children will also accompany her, Mr McCarthy has decided to give up hour, ke ping and a sale of Lis furniture is advertised for May 22nd. Mr McCarthy is not leaving <l.- district but will continue with his Kaitaia business. Mr W Maria left to-day for Auckland.
