Social Function To-morrow Night

A social function will be held in the A & P Hall to-morrow night when Captain Rushworth M.P. will be present. A free invitation is extended to all and provided the weather is fine a large gathering will be present. An invitation has been extended to the members of the various local bodies. Musical items will be given during the evening and it is proposed to hold a dance after supper.

On Thursday and Friday forenoon, from 9 a.m. till noon, Captain Rushworth will receive dedeputations at the Kaitaia Hotel from the local bodies and public generally. On Friday afternoon Captain Rushworth will attend a social function at Awanui, and on Saturday will proceed North. On Monday Captain Rushworth will be in Herekino. This will be a rush trip through the district so as to complete a tour of the electorate before the opening of Parliament in June.
