Shooting Season Opens 1 he shooting season opened an Wednesday last after a closed season for 1928. No big bags are reported up to the present, six and eight pheasants being the most of that class of game secured in one day, The ducks and swans are scarce, owing, no doubt, to the draining of the I.ake. One sportsman was lucky enough to bag nineteen ducks on the first day of the season, but ones and twos are the usual bag.
