Narrow Escape

Car Overturns The seven occupants of Mr Eric Foster’s car had a narrow escape while returning from a dance at the Valley, on Tuesday night last. The car, driven by Mr Theo Wrathall was moving slowly down Lamblcy’s Hill, when, just at the corner, the steering wheel jammed and the car overturned in the ditch. Miss Pheobe Wrathall who sat in the front seat, was thrown out, and received a severely lacerated knee f while the driver and Miss Mavis’ Wrathall, also in front, escaped with bruises. Miss Rose Tennant and Messrs Newell Wrathall and Eric Foster escaped lightly. Mr T Berghan sustained severe internal injuries.
