CORRESPONDENCE
(I'o the Editor) Sir, —Having read with interest the discussions on factory matters in the Age, might I suggest that now the whole question has been fully ventilated, and the directors, so rumour says, are seriously thinking of installing a purifying plant so as to leave nothing to chance re purity of the water, why not settle down and see to our oart of the business. It matters not whether the idea of a petition originated on Ghurch Road or was sent to Takahue to evade responsibility, handed back to Church Road again, or the same obnoxious attitude was displayed in the reign of other managers. What does concern us, is the fact we are manufacturing IGOO tons of butter this season, so let us use ouragitative powers on some of the inexperienced people of the North by pointing out the benefits of top-dressing, and by so doing will help us to get well into the second thousand by next year. It cannot be healthy for the company or encouraging lor a hard working staff to have a continual “face at the window.” I am, etc., No Superfine.
