He eturned to Auckland yesterday, Mr Charles Newton is visiting Caitaia, Sergeant Caton returns to Vhangarei to-morrow. Mr Sydney Taaffe returns to l'e Kao on Monday after a visit .0 Kaitaia. Mr Clark, of the Bank of New Zealand, Kaitaia, who has been holiday-making in Vancouver and Honolulu returned by the Aorangi on Monday. He arrived in Kaitaia last evening. Mr Zane Grey and Captain Mitchell are to arrive at the Bay of Islands in December and will later visit other places along the coast' of New Zealand and explore the possibilities for deep sea fishing. Mr Kidd who has been relieving Mr Clarke at the Bankof New Zealand, Kaitaia, has received notice of transfer to the Auckland branch of the bank. Mr and Mrs T Antis, leave on Saturday on a motor tour to Napier. Mrs A H Puckey is visiting Auckland. Master Allen Crene of Takahue left for Auckland last Saturday. Ivan Black and Ben Franklin, of the Kaitaia Cadets have received their lance-corporal stripes. Miss I Hansen leaves on Saturday for Napier on a month’s holiday. Mr Whitefield, accompanied by his son Don have returned from a visit to Auckland. The following are some of the guests who are registered at the Redan Hotel: Judge Acheson, Messrs Cooper, Howie, Ward, Thomas and Newton. Mr George Marston arrived in Kaitaia last evening. Messrs Ned Wilkinson and Moses Yates who were chosen for the North Auckland Football reps who have been on tour, returned to Kaitaia on Saturday. Mrs C Smeaton who has been in Auckland lor sometime returned to KaitaiaJast week. MrsD H Lewis returned to Kaitaia last evening after visiting Auckland, where her son Ken is undergoing treatment at the Public Hospital. Mr J Subritsky met with an accident to his hand recently, cutting the sinues of his thumb - We are pleased to report his wound is healing satisfactorily. Mrs \ Watson, accompanied by her sister Miss T Elliott are visiting Auckland. Mr Young of Whangarei paid a visit to Kaitaia to-day on business in connection with the T & G Assurance Company. Mr Edward Panther whose condition was reported as serious last week, is we are pleased to report progressing faWarably and will leave the local hospital next week.
