Nomination 5/-, acceptance 5/-. 2 AWANUI HACK HANDICAP seven furlongs of 20 sovs, first horse 17 sovs, and second 3 sovs from stakes. Nomination 8/-, acceptance 9/-. 3 WAIPAPAKAURI EASTER HANDICAP one and a quarter miles of 50 sovs, first horse to receive 40 sovs. and a cup valued at 25 guineas, and the second horse 10 sovs from the stake, open to horses which have not won a flat race of greater value than 250 sovs at time of starting. Nomination £l, acceptance 30/4 MANGONUI County Hack HANDICAP six furlongs of 12 sovs, first horse to receive 10 sovs, and the second horse 2 sovs from the stake. Nomination 5/-, acceptance 5/- Open to horses owned for. three months in the Mangonui County at time of starting. 5 WAIHARARA HANDICAP six furlongs of 30 sovs, first horse 25 sovs and the second 5 ovs from stake. Nomination 10/- • rceptance 15/-. 6 AHIPARA Hack Handicap five furlongs of 20 sovs, first horse to receive 17 sovs, and the second norse 3 sovs from the stake. Nomination 8/-, acceptance 9/Weights and Acceptances Weights will he declared on Monday, March 26, 1928. Acceptances will be received up to 5 p.m. at becretary’s Office Kaitaia on Monday, April 2. Rules and Regulations Special Condition —All Handicaps subject to the condition that the winner of any race after the declaration of weight may be re-handicapped Entries and Acceptances sent by telegram or ’phone must be confirmed by letter at once otherwise the fine under the Rules of Racing will he imposed All races to be run under the New Zealand Rules of Racing Owners, trainers, and others are notified that entries or acceptances must be accompanied by the necessary amount in cash Owners are responsible for penalties All persons intending to withdraw horses are required to give notice to that effect to the becretary or Clerk of. Scales one halt hour before the official time of starting the race. Any person neglecting or refusing to comply with this rule shall pay a fine to be imposed by the Stewards All bookmakers, disqualified persons, and undesirables will be excluded from the course - A.
