Lieut. Kincaid Killed Attempting a Record Noted Airman Passes (Age Special Service) Wellington, Last Night Lieut. Kincaid who was ki’led in an air smash had attained a record speed of 230 miles an hour and was out to break 300 miles an hour when he crashed. He was in a machine of the Schnider Cup class. It is not known yet what happened, but the register showed 230 miles per hour. Lieut. Kincaid was one ot the most noted airmen during the War and since.
