Eversface its inception the “Northland Age” ha* striven to render service to the people in the Northland and from time to time has made improvements which could not fail to be of valne to those who have laboured in this remote part of' the Dominion. Some months ago'the "Age’ was presented as a twelve page weeßy replete with adequate and accurate reports of all local gatherings and the doing* of our public men. Ihe response from the settlers has been such that we have been able to make arrangements which will enable us to take another step forward. To-day we publish the "Age" as a bi-weekly eight-page newspaper. In future ear subscribers will receive die 'Age” on Wednesday and Friday each week, when it will contain in addition to reports of local happenings, news from abroad having brief interesting accounts, of world happenings. Au'impbrtdSf'f«u ture of this progressive policy will be that each copy of the “Ago” will bt sold ©r«r the counter at twopence per copy and In cases where the paper is posted to nbscriben the price will be twopence per copy with postage added.
