Croquet

A pleasant afternoon wrs spent by the ladies on the local green on Saturday when friendly games were played. On Wednesday Mrs Northwood and Mrs Salvair challenged the holders of the Club buttons, Mrs Munn and Mrs H Thompson, defeating the latter. Mrs Northwood and Mrs Marks yestery played a singles for one of the Club’s trophies, Mrs Northwood defeating her opponent and winning the trophy.
