New Political Party.
A SATISFACTORY CONFERENCE.
A most satisfactory conference ef the United Ftfity -hat just been concluded, said the Organiser [Mr Davy) in an interview last week. , There was a • good attendance and the conference was handled in a businesslike manner. Representatives from all parts of the Dominion, drawn from the ranks of the Reform, Nationalist and Liberal Parties -met- and knew each other for the first time a* members of the organisation. "Certain politicians,” said Mr, Davy, “have stated that the personnel of our organisation is known to them, but if that is so they must certainly know more than those attending ihe conference when it opened on Tuesday morning. The broad principles of policy were confirmed, and rules to govern the organisation were adopted, subject to confirmation by the next conference early in the new year. The officials and executive to hold office till then were elected. The headquarters will be Wellington.”
