Queensland Singer
John Collinson, the Brisbane ex-soldier, who sang in a beautiful tenor voice while he was under chloroform for an operation necessitated by wounds received on the Somme, and who was after wards persuaded to study singing raaue a promising debut at the town house of Sir Archibald Weignall, a former Governor of South Australia. One paper says that he has a smooth tenor with a fair range, excellent production, beautiful high notes, and his Italian foundations are firm. He should become that rare and valuable person, an all-round English tenor.
