Mr. H.Rule who met with an accident last week, being thrown from his bicycle and sust ining injures to the knee and hand is at present a patient at the local hospital. Mr W H Atkins is at present in Auckland on business. Mr and Mrs W Palmer, of Kawakawa were the guests of Mr and Mrs J L Hester during the week-end. Dr Rix and family are visiting Auckland. Mrs Rix will spend a few weeks in Auckland. Mr lan McKinnon spent the week-end at Kaitaia and returned to Kawakawa on Tuesday. Miss Robbins, who has been engaged in the clerical department of the Star Garage for some time, returns to Auckland to-mor-row.
