“That the Kaitaia Branch of the Farmers Union congratulate the Dominion Executive on its unanimous decision to adopt political action,, and puts forward the plea that the organisation of a Farmers Party throughout the Dominion be proceeded with immediately,” was a resolution put forward and passed by the Kaitaia Branch last Tuesday. Mr Geo. Wilkinson waited upon the shareholders in the Kaitaia Dairy Co. last Saturday and informed them that a commUtee bad been set up in Kaitaia to assist objectors to the recent valuations. Those who required the assistance of this committee on the matter of preparing their case for the Assessment Court should communicate with Mr L. H. Bell. The committee was orepared to go round the district and inspect property provided the owners would assist with the car hire. All objections must be in before the end of this month. A special sale of pigs ai the Kaitaia saleyards is advertised by the N.A. Farmers’ Co op, Ltd, for Friday, September 2nd, at I p.m.
