Mr J May's Purchase Mr JMay has purchased another Pedigree Jersey foundation cow (Climax). This cow has been shown five times and never unplaced. She is half-sister to “Marshlands Eminent” C. O. R. 712 butterfat at 2 years Silver Medalist. Her sire “Waipiko Max” is full brother to “Eminents Maggie C. O.R. 572 butterfat at 2 years and is half-brother to Mr Saxbys champion butterfat bull "Waipiko Masterpiece” Her dam “Waipiko Cai” is a good cow in Mr A E Watkin’s herd being by Bilbery’s “Goddington” grandson of K.C.B. out of Eminent’s Caip S.O.K. 605 butterfat. Climax half-sister “Kia Ora” was the top priced heifer sold at Mr Watkin’s sale for 85 guineas being by Mr Herman Wilkinson’s bull “Repulse of O K”
