KAITAIA SCHOOL COMMITTEE.

The Kaitaia School Committee met on Monday the 9th instant. Attention is being paid to sports at the school, now that the cricket pitch is finished. Cricket bats and balls are being purchased for the boys. Tennis Courts are being made in good order and racquets and balls are being purchased for the use ot the scholars. Unlortunately, the head master had to report ttm very bad attendance of scholars. It was felt that pirents did not give this matter the serious attention that it warrants.
